2. Cancellation & Refund Eligibility

The refund amount depends on the timing of cancellation and the type of service booked. The following general guidelines apply:

  • More than 15 days before travel date: Eligible for partial refund after applicable deductions

  • 7 to 15 days before travel date: Higher cancellation charges will apply

  • Less than 7 days before travel date: Limited or no refund may be provided

  • No-shows: No refund will be issued

3. Non-Refundable Bookings

Certain services are strictly non-refundable, including but not limited to:

  • Last-minute bookings or customized packages with special pricing

Customers are advised to carefully review booking details before confirming their reservation.

4. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund request is approved, Holiday Gateway will initiate the refund process within 5 to 10 working days. However, the time taken for the refund to reflect in the customer’s account may vary depending on the payment method, bank processing time, or payment gateway policies.

5. Service Charges & Deductions

Holiday Gateway reserves the right to deduct the following charges from the refundable amount:

  • Service charges

  • Processing fees

  • Payment gateway charges

  • Applicable taxes

These deductions are necessary to cover administrative and operational costs involved in processing the booking and cancellation.

6. Third-Party Policy Impact

Since Holiday Gateway collaborates with airlines, hotels, and travel vendors, refund decisions are influenced by their individual policies. In cases where third-party providers deny refunds or impose heavy cancellation charges, Holiday Gateway will not be held liable for the same.

7. Changes Instead of Cancellation

In many cases, modifying travel plans may be a better option than canceling the booking. Customers are encouraged to contact our support team to explore alternatives such as rescheduling dates, changing destinations, or adjusting services. Additional charges may apply based on availability.

8. Force Majeure Conditions

No refunds shall be provided for cancellations arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Pandemic or health emergencies

  • Government restrictions or travel bans

  • Political instability or strikes

In such cases, Holiday Gateway will make reasonable efforts to assist customers with alternative arrangements where possible.

9. Refund Mode

Refunds will be processed through the same mode of payment used during booking. In certain cases, alternative refund methods may be offered based on mutual agreement.

10. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for reviewing all booking details, cancellation policies, and refund eligibility before confirming any service. By proceeding with the booking, the customer agrees to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.
